Construction Progress Continues to Build Momentum at Sundrift Exmouth
Construction at Sundrift Exmouth continues to move forward at an impressive pace, with significant milestones now being achieved across the development as the community begins to take shape.
Across the site, major civil infrastructure is nearing completion, providing purchasers with growing confidence as the vision for Sundrift becomes an increasingly visible reality.
Major Civil Works Nearing Completion
Earthworks, sewer, drainage, water infrastructure and retaining walls are now approximately 95% complete, with only final finishing works remaining over the coming months.
Road construction is also progressing well, with the road subgrade approximately 70% complete and construction of the subbase now underway. As these works continue, future streetscapes are becoming clearly defined, offering an exciting glimpse into what will soon become one of Exmouth’s newest residential communities.
Electrical and nbn infrastructure has also commenced and is currently approximately 20% complete.
What’s Happening Next?
Construction activity will continue throughout August, with crews focused on advancing electrical, nbn and road infrastructure.
Key milestones scheduled over the coming months include:
-
Completion of electrical and nbn infrastructure in September.
-
Completion of the road subbase, basecourse and primer seal during September.
-
Asphalt road surfacing scheduled for October.
Each milestone represents another important step towards delivering a fully serviced community ready for future residents.
Built for Modern Living
Sundrift has been designed to provide residents with the infrastructure expected of a modern coastal community.
Every homesite will be connected via nbn Fibre to the Premises, delivering full fibre directly to each lot and providing access to some of the fastest internet services currently available in Exmouth.
Behind the scenes, extensive preparation has also been undertaken to ensure the long-term quality of the development. More than 100,000 cubic metres of pindan and subgrade fill has been imported to raise the site and ensure every lot achieves the required finished levels.
A Community Taking Shape
Beyond the essential infrastructure, Stage 1 has been thoughtfully planned to create an attractive neighbourhood where residents can enjoy the Exmouth lifestyle.
The first stage will include three areas of public open space, with landscaping scheduled to commence early next year as construction progresses towards completion.
These future green spaces will complement the surrounding marina precinct and provide additional recreational areas for residents and visitors alike.
On Track for Completion
Construction remains firmly on schedule for Practical Completion in December 2026, allowing purchasers to commence building their new homes early in 2027 following the issue of titles.
With infrastructure advancing rapidly and each month bringing visible progress on site, there has never been a better time to explore the remaining opportunities at Sundrift Exmouth.
